Hendershots has to be one of my favorite discoveries in Athens. With its eclectic, retro look and live music, its uniqueness makes it stand out amongst other cafes. It’s great for studying or just hanging out with friends over coffee or drinks.

You have to park and walk which may be inconvenient. It’s also on the outskirts of downtown.
AMBIANCE
If you’re planning on studying, I would suggest going earlier in the day when there isn’t live music. If you just want to hang out and enjoy the vibes, definitely go later in the day to hear some local bands.

Would definitely go back here! This cafe is a great hang-out spot and gives you a good taste of the local music scene at an affordable cost.
